The Tourism Industry Leaders Dialogue Series: Shifting the Paradigm

The dialogue was organized by Creative Advances Technology (CAT), a leader and pioneer in tourism technology, as part of CAT’s commitment to promote collaboration and interaction amongst the industry members.
The Tourism Industry Leaders Dialogue is set to become a series of strategic dialogues between industry players. Not only does provide a networking platform for the travel industry, it also promotes further understanding of the current needs and an avenue for discussion of the prospects and comprehensive solutions.
Mr Greg Duffell, Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Asia Travel Association was invited as the key speaker. He shared the latest Global Tourism Trends for 2010, current industry challenges and PATA’s perspective of how the internet tourism technology is leading the way in providing innovative solutions since it was introduced 13 years ago.
The fruitful and timely dialogue was also a great opportunity for the tourism industry to renew their mindset and embrace new ideas to overcome challenges and leverage on globalization.
Amongst the associations that attended the dialogue were Malaysia Indian Travel Association, Malaysia Association of Hotel (MAH), Malaysia Budget Hotel Association (MBHA), Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents ( MATTA), Kedah MATTA Chapter, PATA Malaysia Chapter (PMC), Kuala Lumpur Tourism Association (KLTA) and National Tourism Council (NTC).
